Wow, I had the worst day ever. Seriously, it was pretty damn horrible.

My two friends that went to my old high school but don't go to the one I go to now are very insecure, thinking that I'm going to "phase them out" or something. So, when I said I couldn't go shopping with her (I'm not a shopping person, anyway) because I was going to a friend at my new school's sleepover, she acted very strangely. After I told her, there was an exceedingly long pause, and then she finally replied "okay" in that way that she does that means she's too angry to even whine. Gah.

And so I went to the sleepover, which was great, until two of the wildest invites smuggled in vodka, proceeded to get drunk, and throw various things in the fishtank for the fish to investigate/get killed by (Transformer legos, a broken White Stripes cd, half a deck of cards, and a toilet seat. Please don't ask about the last item. Thank you). In the end, my friend the hostess had to invent a new kind of drink to prevent them for drinking waaaay too much. It involves orange juice, soda, vodka, and chocolate, and according to my friends, taster pretty damn good. I refused to drink, because it's illegal, and it wasn't even my house. The girl's parents were right upstairs! Gah.

The next day, me and hostess got to gloat over their hangovers, even though we weren't that much better, having gotten to sleep at 6:00 AM and waking up AT 9. FUN, RIGHT?

So, as you can see, Gah-ness abounds.

Well, I've decided that if I'm going to write in this, I'm going to write about my writing, and things I hate, because my two favorite things are writing (mostly fics) and complaining about stuff. And as I can barely lift my backpack and I lost my Metro Card again, there's quite a lot to complain about.

But mostly I'm going to make a self-complaint. I feel very guilty about not updating any of my fics in a very while, and just putting up depressing one-shots that will probably turn *into* chaptery fics, except not really, because I will never update them.

Anyyyway...if anyone feels like reading any of my fics, they're at ff.net, the Friends category, under the artist Leondra.

And, of course, my recommendations, because I know you all value my opinion so much :)

Book (short stories): Among the Missing, by Dan Chaon. Beautiful, haunting fics.
Movie: In Her shoes. Wonderful cast. And, if you want to know, the guy that ends up marrying the lawyer sister looks like my Bio teacher.
Fanfic (Friends, of course): When they All Found, by Mizzy. A series of original Mondler one-shots. And only the last one is depressing. Random thing: One of those wristbands everyone is making for different causes, the first one I think was the slogan "Live strong" for Lance Armstrong. This one, however, is "Ninja relief" I'm not kidding- it's hilarious and an actual cause. There are out of work ninjas in good ol' Manhattan, and there's a support fund for them now.

Um...I'm not really giddy...U just chose that mood because I love to see the penguin jump up and down. And I have a book reccomendation, for anyone who cares: You don't know me, by David Klass.

    Wheee
Hmmm...I've never done this before, and have just realized that I have absolutely nothing to say about myself, or life in general. I should be doing a million other things other than this, including my global homework, but I'm...not. Because that makes a great argument, right? :)

    Current Mood: tired
    Current Music: blink-182
